G Squared Capital Partners continues to expand by welcoming two new team members, Sam Nelson and Yash Parikh. Sam and Yash bring government contracting experience from ECS Federal and Guidehouse with backgrounds in corporate development and strategy.
Sam joins the team from ECS Federal where he worked in FP&A and Corporate Development. This year Sam has been making the most out of the pandemic’s remote work life by traveling the United States in an Airstream. Although he had never towed anything in his life, he jumped on the opportunity to see the country’s sights and learn about different cultures – an adventure not unlike his favorite movie, “Into the Wild”. When Sam is not driving cross country, you can find him enjoying the company of his 2-year-old German Shephard, Oakley, reading one of his favorite books (currently "7 Habits of Highly Effective People"), or driving around Arlington looking for pickup basketball games. Sam is a graduate of James Madison University where he majored in Finance.
Yash joins the team from Guidehouse where he supported the Public Health group on financial management engagements. Prior to Guidehouse, Yash supported buy and sell side financial due diligence as a strategy and transformation consultant for MorganFranklin. After earning his Master’s from Cass Business School in London, Yash lived in Argentina for 3 months making the most out of his time abroad. While in Argentina, he had the chance to ski at Patagonia and white-water raft at Iguazu Falls before returning to the United States. He is a Penn State graduate that enjoys hiking and working on his golf game during his spare time.
