G Squared Advises Capstone on its Sale to CSA Associates

Client Solution Architects LLC (“CSA”), a leading digital transformation consulting firm focused on the U.S. Defense Department, announced today that it has acquired Capstone LLC, as part of a portfolio expansion initiative to strengthen its presence across all U.S. Federal enterprise information technology service areas. The combined company will provide robust enterprise IT and mission-centric portfolios in areas like IT modernization, DevOps, cybersecurity, data management, automation and process improvement.

CSA also announced an investment from Blue Delta Capital Partners, a leading venture capital firm focused on the U.S. government services market, as part of the transaction. In addition, CSA secured senior debt from Atlantic Union Bank. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, although CSA noted that the combined company would have over $100 million in revenue.

“Since its inception, CSA has organically evolved to support our clients’ needs with a synergistic mixture of mission support and information technology capabilities. Combining with Capstone, we immediately establish a broader set of strategic digital transformation services that better support our combined Navy, Army and Joint DOD client base, creates a unified team of likeminded and culturally aligned professionals and allows us to address emerging modernization and mission needs across all Federal departments and agencies,” said the CEO of CSA, Amy Bleken.

“Blue Delta’s successful track record and government services expertise made them the perfect partner for CSA and we are excited to have them on our team as we continue to execute on our mission and the customers we serve,” said Lee Arroyo, CSA’s Founder and Chairman of the Board.

“Our team at Blue Delta has been very impressed with the reputation that CSA has earned with its customers and in the Federal marketplace” said Phil Nolan, General Partner at Blue Delta. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to back Amy, Lee, Dan and the team at CSA and we look forward to helping the combined company grow.”

“Capstone brings to CSA an exceptional team of professionals, led by COO Dan Fox, with great capabilities in cybersecurity, IT modernization, data management and mission support services, as well as unparalleled client intimacy and exceptional contract execution,” Bleken added.

“We are thrilled to be joining CSA and what the two firms can accomplish together for our clients,” said Capstone COO Dan Fox, who will become the COO of the combined company. “I am very much looking forward to working with Amy in taking CSA to new heights.”
